CHÂTEAU CLARKE Listrac 2005 (89 points, $30)

Dark ruby in color, with licorice, black coffee and ripe berry. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and mineral and berry flavors. Has a lovely texture and bright acidity. A little disjointed now, but lots going on. Best after 2011. 20,830 cases made.
