Comment: Good Point, Doug. I tend to not get the bottles I request when I am there. They are either not available or sent back because of being useless.

Comment: For over twenty years Berns has had 500,000 bottles. Does anyone ever go and count? And do the bottles that are so old, they are useless count?
Thanks, Doug

Comment: I've been going there since the mid-80's and I have never been disappointed. I always call ahead to the Sommelier to get a recommendation for a wine in my price range. Some may be put off by the decor which reminds me of what a New Orleans' whorehouse may have looked like in the late 1800's.

Comment: Possibly the best restaurant in the world. I'll go out of my way to be in Tampa to experience Bern's. Many wines you wouldn't otherwise see in a lifetime are just sitting there on the massive wine list for you to enjoy. Prices are cheap for such an amazing restarant too.
